⁴Do not forget that all lives are mine. The life of the father and the life of the son are both mine. Only the person who sins shall die.

⁵Reflect upon a virtuous man
    who does what is lawful and right.
⁶He does not eat^[a] on the mountains
    or lift up his eyes
    to the idols of the house of Israel.
He does not defile his neighbor’s wife
    or have relations with a woman
    during her menstrual period.
